Herzegovinian entrepreneur Petar Ćorluka, whose company Violeta is best known for producing hygiene products, has been increasingly expanding into the hospitality sector in recent years. His hotel portfolio currently includes four properties in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, with a fifth set to open soon in Grude, where Violeta is headquartered, as reported by N1 BiH.
Violeta recently highlighted four properties in its hotel portfolio. In Sarajevo, there is the Colors Inn hotel, while Hotel Mirjam, Family Resort Urania, and Villa Katarina are located in Makarska and Baška Voda.
Situated in the heart of Sarajevo, Colors Inn features 37 rooms, a restaurant, and additional amenities. The other three accommodations are on the Croatian coast, all on the Makarska Riviera. Hotel Mirjam and the Villa Katarina apartments are in Makarska, while Family Resort Urania is in Baška Voda.
In the center of Grude, a large commercial and retail complex is nearing completion, one of Ćorluka's largest investments in western Herzegovina. According to BiznisInfo.ba, whose team captured aerial footage of the construction site in early June 2026, the project is in its final phase and the building has taken on its near-final shape.
This complex will feature various amenities, including a four-star hotel. Once completed, the hotel portfolio associated with Violeta could grow to at least five properties across two countries.
Violeta states that the hotel business is not a side venture but part of a long-term strategy. The company lists hospitality as one of its core activities, alongside manufacturing, distribution, retail, and food service.
According to Vrisak Info, the business system currently operates in manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, food service, sports, and recreation, including HoReCa.
In addition to production facilities, the company also runs the Bezdan 21 restaurant, the Vita senior home, and the Pony Montessori kindergarten in Grude. Recently, Ćorluka has made significant industrial investments, such as acquiring Čapljina's Lasta and restarting production there.
The completion of the new hotel in Grude could be the next step in expanding Petar Ćorluka's business empire, which already stretches from Sarajevo through Herzegovina to the Makarska Riviera.
