According to the Croatian Automobile Club (HAK) report published on Thursday, August 13, 2026, a traffic accident occurred on the state road DC8 in Dubrovnik, in the area of Čibača. Traffic in that section is being managed by traffic police, and drivers are advised to exercise caution.

Bans Due to Strong Wind

On the Adriatic Highway (DC8), on the Novi Vinodolski - Karlobag section, due to strong wind, there is a traffic ban for vehicles of the first group. The ban applies to motorcycles, vehicles with trailers, and double-decker buses.

Queues and Slowdowns on Highways

On the A2 Zagreb-Macelj highway, at the Zaprešić toll station in the direction of Macelj, a queue about 1.5 kilometers long has formed. Additionally, on the Krapina - Đurmanec and Trakošćan - Đurmanec sections, traffic is moving only in the driving lane.

On the A3 Bregana-Lipovac highway, increased traffic density has been recorded on the approach to the construction zone between the Lučko interchange and the Zagreb West interchange, as well as between the Jakuševec interchange and the Zagreb East interchange in the direction of Lipovac. Traffic is moving in a slow-moving queue with occasional stops. Works on the Popovača interchange - Kutina interchange section last until September 1, and between the Sveta Nedelja and Zagreb West interchanges until October 3.

Other Incidents

On the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb highway, at 6+000 km in the direction of Rijeka, there is an object on the roadway. Traffic is being conducted on two lanes with a speed limit of 80 km/h. State road DC44 near Buzet is closed due to a traffic accident, while on DC501 near the Meja railway crossing, repairs are underway on road signaling. On the Krk Bridge (DC102), there is increased traffic density in both directions.

For tomorrow, HAK announces congestion and delays on most roads towards the coast, especially on highways and approaches to tourist destinations along the Adriatic Highway. On state roads along the Adriatic coast, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, there will be a traffic ban for trucks with a maximum permissible mass over 7.5 tons. Passenger traffic delays are expected at the border crossings of Gornji Varoš, Ličko Petrovo Selo, Svilaj, Bajakovo, Karasovići, and Tovarnik.
