The City of Kaštela has initiated an open tender for a low-value procurement concerning the purchase of a camera and five housings intended for vehicle speed measurement within the city area, as announced on the Kaštela portal and reported by DalmacijaDanas. The total estimated value of this procurement amounts to €80,000.
Equipment to Be Used by the Croatian Ministry of the Interior
The subject of the procurement is the purchase, delivery, and installation of a fixed speed measurement device, specifically one camera and five housings, for traffic control of vehicles in the City of Kaštela area. The aforementioned equipment will be used by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia (MUP RH).
The camera and housings will be installed at locations to be agreed upon with the MUP RH, including Ivana Pavla II Road, D8 and Dr. Franje Tuđmana Road.
Procurement Conditions and Bid Deadline
The procurement, delivery, and installation must be carried out in accordance with the contractual bill of quantities, technical specifications, provisions of the proposed Contract, applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. All equipment must be compatible with the existing systems used by the MUP RH and must be brand new, i.e., unused.
The stated price includes the purchase, delivery, and installation, as well as all necessary connections and mounting elements, until the equipment is fully operational. The contract will last five months, with the deadline starting from the day both parties sign the contract. The selection of the bid will be based on the criterion of the most economically advantageous tender.
Bids may be submitted until September 9, 2026, no later than 10:00 AM. The opening of bids will be conducted electronically via the EOJN system, while physical parts of the bids will be reviewed at the address of the City of Kaštela, Braće Radić 1, 21212 Kaštel Sućurac, on the fifth floor. The public opening of bids is scheduled for September 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
