Dinamo is expected to unveil two new signings to the public on Monday. The arrivals of Russian Kiril Kravtsov and young Ghanaian Fuzy Taylor have been talked about for a while, and they are finally expected to undergo medicals and sign contracts at the start of this week.
Not Registered for Viking in Champions League
However, the duo will not be registered for the Champions League playoff and the matches against Viking. Although the deadline for adding players to the list is Monday evening, precisely 24 hours before the match, Dinamo does not plan to do so.
As for Taylor, everything is certain; the Blues plan to use him in the B team first, and then gradually integrate him into the first team. The same situation applies to Frenchman Noah Nsoki, who arrived from PSG, so he will also start with Dinamo II.
Kravtsov Not Yet Ready for Minutes
It was expected that Kravtsov might participate, especially since he is a senior and an alternative to Josip Mišić. However, he is clearly not in shape yet because he hasn't undergone proper preparations. Negotiations and competition with other clubs dragged on, and he spent that time waiting, so he will need a few weeks to get into the right rhythm.
Without this new trio, Dinamo will thus enter the Champions League, and Gabriel Vidović will also not be in the squad. As previously reported, he has said goodbye to his teammates and is heading to Paderborn, so the official confirmation of that transfer is expected soon, which removes him from Dinamo's list for the elite European competition's playoff.
Maksimir Nearly Sold Out, Part of Revenue for Fires
On Sunday, Dinamo announced that three stands for the match against Viking are already sold out: North Lower, West Lower, and West Upper. Only the North Upper stand remains on sale, where tickets cost 12 euros for members and 17 euros for other fans.
The Champions League playoff match takes place on Tuesday, August 18, at 9 PM at Maksimir. Besides the fight for a spot in the league phase, part of the match revenue will be donated to help victims of the fires in the hardest-hit parts of Croatia.
Boban Congratulates Purgeri on 40th Birthday
Before the match, the fan group BBB celebrated 40 years of existence, and Zvone Boban also posted a special message on Twitter.
"To you, without whom nothing is the same - for 40 years it hasn't been the same! To you, who never stopped loving and living blue - not for a second of life, not for a second of any match.
