Varaždin County has gifted a new boat to the Neretva Boatmen's Association, and for the first time in the competition's history, the vessel bears the name of a military unit.
On Thursday, August 7, 2026, the Neretva River became the stage for a historic event that symbolically connected Croatia's north and south. During the Festival of Traditions, held as part of the renowned Boat Marathon, Varaždin County, led by County Prefect Anđelko Stričak, presented a new boat to the Neretva Boatmen's Association.
