According to the latest data from the Croatian National Tourist Board, nautical tourism in the Dubrovnik area in July maintained stability in the number of overnight stays, although there was a slight decline in arrivals. The July results also bring an interesting shift in the traffic of local ports, with the Gruž passenger port recording strong growth, while ACI Marina Dubrovnik in Komolac saw a slight decline.

In the seventh month, in the Dubrovnik maritime area, there were 8,556 visits by nautical tourists, which is 1.5 percent less than in the same period last year. Overseas Guests Lead the Way

The list of the most numerous also includes guests from Australia, Croatia, France, South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Poland, and Germany.

The data clearly shows that distant, overseas markets such as the USA, Australia, and Canada continue to account for an extremely significant share of Dubrovnik's high-spending nautical tourism.

Gruž Rises, Komolac Sees Slight Decline

The July data also reveals significant changes in the traffic of local ports. ACI Marina Dubrovnik in Komolac remains the leader with 3,179 arrivals and 23,820 overnight stays, but a slight decline was observed there compared to last year. On the other hand, the Gruž passenger port experienced significant growth with 2,814 arrivals and 19,493 overnight stays, representing an increase of nearly 29 percent in arrivals and more than 25 percent in overnight stays.
