The city of Knin has been the site of a large patriotic gathering since early morning, marking Victory Day and the 31st anniversary of Operation Storm. According to Dnevnik.hr, the first citizens began arriving as early as 6 a.m., with an expected turnout of around ten thousand people from nearly all parts of Croatia throughout the day.
The atmosphere in the city is festive and emotional, with streets filled with people who have come to pay tribute to Croatian defenders and remember a pivotal moment from the Homeland War.
