Two Surgeries in Two Days

Marko suffered from a severe form of scoliosis, which led to his first spinal surgery lasting as long as 13 hours. However, after the demanding procedure, a complication arose, he lost motor function in the lower part of his body. He was operated on again the very next day, but unfortunately, the second surgery did not restore function to his legs.

While Marko is undergoing rehabilitation in Krapinske Toplice, his family has not lost hope for his recovery, but they are aware that numerous problems await them upon his imminent return home. The family home in Privlaka is currently not adapted for a person with disabilities.

A Race Against Time for a Dignified Life

It has garnered support not only from family and friends but also from the school Marko attends, as well as numerous citizens and generous companies. The primary goal of the campaign is to raise enough money to renovate Marko's room and fully adapt the bathroom to his new needs.

The family has publicly thanked everyone who has already provided support and has called on all those who are able to join the campaign.
