Two separate missing person cases in the Balkans have alarmed the public this weekend. In Vrbas, authorities are searching for 13-year-old Anastasija Arvai, while in Međugorje, 24-year-old Italian national Rossella Squizzato has gone missing. Both disappearances have been reported to the relevant authorities, and the families are urging citizens to come forward with any information.
The disappearance of Anastasija Arvai was reported to the police on Saturday, August 2, 2026, according to information released by "Amber Alert Serbia" and carried by Kurir.rs. The girl was last seen near the Center for Physical Culture (CFK) in Vrbas.
Anastasija's aunt spoke to Telegraf and shared heartbreaking details. "She was at the Center for Physical Culture (CFK), said she was going to wash up and never came back. She was wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, and slippers," the aunt recounted. She added that the family is in complete shock. "She lived with her father and grandfather; her parents are divorced. We're in shock; nothing like this has ever happened before. I hope they find her alive and well," she said.

Rossella was born on April 22, 2002, in Italy. She is 165 centimeters tall and has black hair. According to the description, at the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black-and-white striped T-shirt and long white pants, and was barefoot. She was last seen walking from the intersection near the Forum towards the Hill of Apparitions.
