Russian midfielder Kirill Kravtsov has agreed terms with Dinamo, but has yet to arrive in Zagreb due to visa complications.
Zagreb's Dinamo has agreed personal terms with Russian midfielder Kirill Kravtsov (24), but his arrival at Maksimir is currently stalled due to documentation issues. Although everything is ready for the contract signing and medical examination, Kravtsov has not yet received the visa required to enter and reside in Croatia.
According to information from Večernji list, Kravtsov had already set off towards Croatia, but had to stop in Belgrade due to documentation problems. As the paperwork situation was not resolved in time, he was forced to return to Russia, where he continues to wait for all the necessary documents.
Despite this unpleasant situation, the agreement between the player and the club remains in place. Kravtsov is expected to arrive in Zagreb for a medical and sign the contract as soon as the visa issue is resolved. It is anticipated that everything will be finalized before the end of the transfer window.
He joins Dinamo as a free agent after his contract with Russian club Sochi expired this summer. Earlier in his career, he also played for the mighty Zenit. At Maksimir, he is expected to play an important role, serving as a replacement for captain Josip Mišić in certain matches, although he can also help in a more offensive "number eight" position. He is a versatile player who should bring additional depth to the midfield.
While waiting for the visa situation to unfold, Dinamo posted an interesting photo on social media with the message: "This photo is already becoming a tradition 🕶️💪". The photo was taken by club photographer Luka Stanzl and was posted on the official GNK Dinamo Twitter profile on August 5, 2026.
