According to Goal.com, citing Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, talks have been at a standstill for the past 24 hours as Leipzig has not responded to the Spanish giants' latest offer. This silence has caused surprise within the Madrid club.
While Real Madrid awaits a resolution, Paris Saint-Germain has continued its summer activities. Goal.com reports that PSG has opened formal negotiations with Ajax Amsterdam for promising winger Mike Godts. The 21-year-old Belgian arrives following an impressive season in which he scored 17 goals and provided 15 assists in 44 matches.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Parisian club's management has contacted Ajax and that negotiations are ongoing. PSG had already bolstered its attack earlier this summer by signing Norwegian Magnus Akliouche for €50 million.
