Just a week after presenting the song "Nisam kriva ja", Croatian singer Severina has released a new single and video "Pozovi me ti" (Anxious). It is the second part of her musical trilogy, and the first reactions from fans are pouring in.
Severina announced the premiere of the song on August 6, 2026, on social media, where she joked with her followers. "Is this the 'old Severina' or should I be even older? 😂 As far as I'm concerned, that's it. That's all Folks!", the singer wrote. She shared a similar message in a post reported by Klix.ba, asking: "Is this the 'old Severina' or should I be even older?".
The first fan comments were more than positive. Along with comparisons to Jennifer Lopez, one fan wrote: "Balkan J. Lo". Others commented on how they like the return of her old sound: "Great song, I love that the old Seve is back" and "Another (and totally different) HIT! Thanks Seve".
The new song is credited to a well-established songwriting team. The music was composed by Bojan Vasić, who also worked on the arrangement with Branimir Mihaljević. The lyrics were written by Danijel Pavlović, while the music video was directed by Petar Pašić.
"Pozovi me ti" brings an emotional story from the perspective of a woman addressing her ex-partner and his new relationship. Through themes of anxiety and emotional wounds, it describes an exhausting relationship and warns the other woman about what, in her opinion, awaits her. The song ends with the symbolism of anxiety as a lasting consequence of such a relationship.
Recall, the first part of the trilogy, the song "Nisam kriva ja" (Unfeeling), was released by Severina on July 31, 2026. That song also sparked numerous reactions and divided fans in a short time, while some praised the return to a more emotional sound, others were more reserved.
