Marko Perković Thompson held his long-awaited concert at Šibenik's Šubićevac Stadium on Tuesday. The performance, scheduled ahead of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, attracted around 27,000 attendees, but the evening was briefly paused twice due to medical emergencies in the audience.
The first pause occurred while the singer was performing "Sine Moj." Noticing that a fan had fallen ill, Thompson clearly instructed from the stage: "Call an ambulance. He's not feeling well." The music immediately stopped, and the crowd responded with applause to his quick reaction. According to available information, the individual did not suffer serious consequences.
A similar situation arose later in the evening when medical staff had to attend to a female attendee. Despite the two interruptions, the concert proceeded without major incidents and without requiring significant police intervention.
This was Thompson's first performance in Šibenik in 13 years, which further heightened audience anticipation. The singer opened the concert with "Bojna Čavoglave," and an emotional moment followed when, as reported by Index.hr, he "broke down" and told the crowd: "Thank you, heroes."
