Thompson's Vukovar: Ticket Sales Begin Friday

After a long wait, ticket sales for Marko Perković Thompson's concert in Vukovar will begin on Friday, August 7, 2026, at exactly noon. The event is scheduled for August 29, and according to information from the city administration, more than 100,000 visitors are expected. Interest is enormous, and organizers believe tickets will sell out in record time.
Online sales will be available through the Sportify Events platform for all interested parties from Croatia and abroad. Vukovar residents will also be able to purchase tickets in person at the Birthplace of Lavoslav Ružička, located at 25 Josipa Jurja Strossmayera Street. For this occasion, 30,000 tickets have been set aside for in-person sales.
This concert is not just a musical spectacle. Organizers emphasize that it will be an evening of unity, patriotism, and solidarity. After covering all organizational costs, the entire profit will be donated to two projects: completing the Salesian student dormitory in Zagreb and the donation campaign "I ti si Vukovar" (You Are Vukovar Too) for the construction of the Stadium of 12 Croatian Police Officers.

Vukovar Mayor Marijan Pavliček highlighted the symbolism of the host city and the humanitarian dimension of the event. "Vukovar is a city that preserves the memory of its past but equally builds its future. It is a great honor that our city will host an event that, besides gathering tens of thousands of people, also has a noble purpose," said Pavliček. He called on everyone to together demonstrate the strength of unity and solidarity.
Co-organizer, the company Infinite Show d.o.o., emphasized that the project was conceived from the start as much more than a concert. "We wanted to bring people together around a common goal and show that music can be a driver of good deeds. We believe this evening will leave a lasting mark," said Infinite Show.
Marko Perković Thompson invited all people of good will to join and support these initiatives by their presence. "Vukovar holds a special place in the heart of the Croatian people. I am glad we will gather again in the hero city, but this time with the goal of doing something good together," said Thompson. He added that he believes they can together leave a mark that will benefit future generations.
The organizers called on all Croatian citizens and the Croatian diaspora to become part of this story by attending, concluding: "May this evening be proof that together we can build a future, for the youth, for Vukovar, and for Croatia."
