Tia Jurčić (41), stepdaughter of prominent Croatian economist Ljubo Jurčić, has once again said the fateful 'I do.' This time, her chosen one is former NBA star and sports analyst Kenny "The Jet" Smith (61), and she shared the happy news with her followers on social media, along with photos of her posing in a lavish white wedding dress.
"Mr. and Mrs. Smith," Tia wrote in her post, which quickly gathered numerous congratulations and well wishes. One comment under the photo read: "Third time's the charm, huh?" alluding to the fact that this is Tia's third marriage.
Before her relationship with Kenny Smith, Tia Jurčić was married to American basketball player Chris Warren, with whom she has a son, Domenick. Her second marriage was to Mario Mamić, the son of Zdravko Mamić. After divorcing Mamić, she returned to America.
Kenny Smith is also no stranger to marriage. He has two previous marriages behind him. With his ex-wife Dawn Reavis, he has a daughter, Kayla, and a son, K.J., and from his marriage to former model and actress Gwendolyn Osborne, he has a daughter, Malloy, and a son, London.
The public first noticed the love between Tia and Kenny on the first day of 2024, when Tia posted a photo of them together from a New Year's Eve celebration. Their first official public appearance was in February 2024 at a Super Bowl event. The engagement followed a year later, and in October of last year, the couple announced they had taken their relationship to the next level. "YES to you forever!" Tia wrote on Instagram at the time.
Kenny Smith is a major sports star in America. During his professional career, he played for the Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and Denver Nuggets, and he won two NBA titles with the Houston Rockets. Today, he is known as one of the hosts of the popular show "Inside the NBA."
Last weekend, Tia shared a photo on social media from the rehearsal dinner, posing in a lavish gown, holding a clutch that read "Mrs. Smith," with a metallic purple Rolls-Royce visible in the background.
Her friends posted photos on social media of ice cream in paper cups from the wedding. They bore a romantic message: "Tia and Kenny, wedding weekend. I choose you, and I will choose you over and over again, without hesitation, without doubt, without thinking."
