The eighth edition of the event dedicated to Oliver Dragojević brought together tens of thousands of visitors, 70 performers, and 185 organizers, confirming its status as one of the most emotional cultural events on the Adriatic.
The eighth edition of the 'Trag u beskraju' event turned Vela Luka into an epicenter of emotion, gathering more than 30,000 visitors. Over six days of programming, the town breathed to the music of Oliver Dragojević, connecting generations in shared memory and song.
The program was rich and diverse. In addition to the main concert, visitors enjoyed performances at multiple venues, a humanitarian football match with Oliver's friends, book promotions, and an ecological seabed cleanup. Throughout these days, more than 70 performers took part, including musicians, klapa groups, and children's choirs.
"Every year I think it will get easier, but when Oliver's songs ring out in Vela Luka, the emotions are always the same. These aren't just concerts; they're gatherings of people who, through his music, relive memories, loves, and moments that have marked their lives. As long as his songs are sung like this, Oliver is among us," said Ante Gelo, musician and music producer of the event.
The event's hallmark, a unique stage on the sea, once again amazed. The logistics and realization were made possible by Jadrolinija and Pomgrad Inženjering. Thousands of people on the waterfront and numerous boats in the harbor created an unforgettable sight during the central evening on the pontoon, complete with the obligatory communal singing of timeless hits. The company Eldra ensured top-notch audio-visual production with more than 10 tons of equipment, while the television broadcast was realized in collaboration with HRT.
This year's edition involved as many as 185 people in its organization and realization, including 80 volunteers. The event is the fruit of collaboration between the Municipality of Vela Luka, the Vela Luka Culture Center, the 'Šime Vučetić' Public Library, the Vela Luka Tourist Board, and numerous partners such as the Port Authority, the Luško lito Association, NK Hajduk 1932, and KPA Vodomar Duga Resa. The entire production and coordination has been led for the sixth year by Real grupa, headed by Krešimir Renzo Prosoli.
"Trag u beskraju today is much more than an event. It has become part of Vela Luka's identity and an event that strongly contributes to the promotion of our town, tourism, and the unity of our residents," emphasized Katarina Gugić, Mayor of Vela Luka.
Krešimir Renzo Prosoli, owner and executive director of Real grupa, added that the event has outgrown the framework of a musical gathering. "Six years ago, we took on the responsibility to tell this story in a way Oliver deserves. Trag u beskraju has outgrown the framework of a musical event and become a place of unity and emotion," Prosoli stressed, thanking everyone who, through their work, preserves Oliver's musical legacy.
