Croatia Invests Record Funds in Railways: High-Speed Trains Zagreb-Karlovac Coming Soon
By 2029, the journey from Karlovac to Zagreb will take 20 minutes, and two major projects are in preparation: the lowland railway to Rijeka with a 14-kilometer tunnel through Velika Kapela, and the Ćićarija tunnel that will connect Istria with the rest of the country.
