Police officers from the Šibenik-Knin Police Department, in cooperation with the Police Directorate and the Drug Crime Unit, arrested a 32-year-old British national in Pirovac on Sunday evening, August 2, 2026. He is suspected of illegal drug manufacturing and distribution.
Spotted Due to Suspicious Behavior
According to the report from the Šibenik-Knin Police Department, the man was spotted in the evening hours due to behavior that officers found suspicious. After approaching him and conducting a search, they found a large quantity of drugs prepared in dozens of small packages.
Detailed List of Seized Drugs
The police confiscated a diverse arsenal of narcotics from the suspect. They seized five bags containing a total of 15.88 grams of cannabis, two bags with 77 MDMA tablets, and three original boxes containing 258 grams of psilocybin, i.e., hallucinogenic mushrooms. Additionally, they found nine more bags with 24.57 grams of the same drug.
The list of seized items also includes 13 bags with a total of 11.7 grams of ketamine, 27 bags with 26.09 grams of MDMA, and one bag with four doses of LSD. In addition to the drugs, the police also found a larger sum of money suspected to be proceeds from drug dealing.
Brought In and Handed Over to Custody Supervisor
After the discovery of the drugs, the 32-year-old British man was arrested and taken to police premises, where a criminal investigation was conducted. Upon completion of the investigation, the suspect will be handed over to the custody supervisor of the Šibenik-Knin Police Department. A criminal complaint will be filed against him with the County State Attorney's Office in Šibenik on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs.
