The Croatian Athletics Federation announced its final national team roster on Friday for the 27th European Athletics Championships, which will be held in Birmingham from 10 to 16 August. Among the 16 travellers is Bruno Belčić, a member of the "Karlovac" Athletics Club, who will compete in the 3,000 metres steeplechase.

According to Karlovački, Belčić secured his place based on the world ranking list. In a field of 34 athletes in the 3,000 metres steeplechase, the Karlovac native is ranked 33rd, which was enough to earn him a trip to Birmingham.

From Bloudek to Belčić: Who's Going

Besides Belčić, head coach Damir Bošnjak will have 15 more athletes at his disposal.
