Pride in Service with the 4th Guards Brigade

In his post, Bulj highlighted his pride in having participated in that historic operation as a Croatian soldier. "I am proud to have taken part in the Military-Police Operation Storm as a Croatian soldier, a member of the 4th Guards Brigade of the Croatian Army, and in all the victorious operations that led to the final liberation of Croatia," Bulj wrote.

He described Operation Storm as a symbol of Croatian courage and determination, calling it a "magnificent victory of the Croatian soldier" that was, as he stated, impeccably clean and honorable. He emphasized that this operation forever broke the Greater Serbian aggression.

"I Will Never Forget That Moment"

Bulj specifically reflected on the moment captured in the published photo. "I will never forget the moment when the Croatian flag flew over Knin Fortress. Those were days of pride, glory, and victory written by Croatian defenders, and many laid down the most precious thing for that freedom-their lives," he said.

Continuing his post, the MP stressed that today's generations have an obligation to continue building a state worthy of the defenders' sacrifice. "Our generation won a free Croatia. Today, we have an obligation to win a just, honest, and well-ordered Croatia, a state where work, honesty, and the sacrifice of Croatian defenders will be valued. That is the debt we owe to those who never returned," he wrote.

Congratulations for Victory Day

Concluding his post, Bulj extended congratulations on the national holiday. "To all Croatian defenders, families of the fallen and missing, the Croatian people, and all citizens of the Republic of Croatia, I heartily congratulate Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, Croatian Defenders Day, and the 31st anniversary of the magnificent Storm," he added. He wished eternal glory and peace for all fallen defenders.
