A woman using the pseudonym Isabel said Leto sexually assaulted her in 2002, when she was 17. She met Leto at a store in Las Vegas where she worked, and after showing him around the city, she agreed to meet at his accommodation. The address led her to a rundown motel, but she expected they would then go elsewhere.
According to her account, while she was sitting on the bed, Leto called her into the bathroom to continue talking while he showered, then opened the curtain, began kissing her, and took her hand to masturbate himself. 'For most of my life, I thought what happened to me was because I was a stupid girl,' Isabel said in the documentary, as reported by Index.hr.
Former model Alex met Leto in 2013 after a concert at London's O2 Arena. She was 19 at the time, and Leto was 41. Trying to protect herself, she claimed to be 17, to which he allegedly replied that age is just a number. After a party in East London, an assistant persuaded her to go to a nearby hotel, where she found only Leto in the room, not the expected group.
Alex claims he then told her she could wake up while he was sexually assaulting her and repeated this threat several times. 'That's when I realized I wasn't safe,' Alex said. She left the room and messaged a friend about what happened. She now believes the whole situation was orchestrated.
A woman identified as Clara claims she had sex with Leto for the first time in 2006, when she was 17 and he was 34. The encounter occurred at his home in California, where the age of consent is 18, which could make such an act a crime. Clara's friend was asked for her phone number by a Leto associate backstage at a concert, and she then went alone to the actor's home.
Clara says Leto asked her to call him 'daddy' and act like a little girl. She adds that they discussed the age of consent in California, and Leto simply shrugged. 'No mature, stable man in his thirties would look at a teenager and think she would be a suitable partner,' Clara said, as reported by Index.hr.
Taylor met Leto in 2005 at a music festival when she was 14. She was watching the concert with her mother, and after a meet-and-greet, Leto allegedly signed her shirt across her chest and made inappropriate comments about her body. Two former members of the Thirty Seconds to Mars crew, speaking under the pseudonyms Brad and Simon, also told the documentary that staff felt uncomfortable with the way Leto interacted with teenagers. One of them said: 'I think everyone felt the age gap was too big.' According to them, he would invite some girls backstage or to the house where he recorded music.
The BBC states that it has corroborated part of the testimonies through conversations with the women's friends and relatives, as well as by reviewing photos and messages. Journalists also found around 120 individual accusations and claims published online relating to similar patterns of behavior. Despite this, Jared Leto did not comment despite multiple inquiries.
This is not the first time Leto has faced such accusations. In 2025, Los Angeles DJ Allie Teilz posted on social media that Leto assaulted her when she was 17.
