Former Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik filmed himself eating sliced meat in a car, but social media users quickly noticed he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
Former President of Republika Srpska and former member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, posted a video on social media on Saturday, August 2, 2026, which quickly became the subject of numerous comments. The video shows Dodik, sitting in the passenger seat of a luxury car, eating sliced meat.
"When you can't make time for breakfast due to obligations, sliced meat in the car comes in handy," Dodik wrote alongside the post on platform X, as reported by Nova.rs. It seems that the SNSD president wanted to show that, despite his many commitments, he opts for a simple, "folksy" meal.
However, social media users quickly noticed a detail that Dodik apparently missed. The video clearly shows that he was not wearing a seatbelt during the ride. The use of seatbelts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as in most European countries, is mandated by law.
While trying to show that he was eating a "folksy" breakfast, the former official inadvertently revealed that he was violating traffic regulations. Respecting such rules is one of the key prerequisites for road safety, especially during the summer months when traffic is heavier and the risk of accidents is increased.
