The greatest tennis player of all time, Novak Djokovic, has been spotted in a relaxed state, swimming among ordinary bathers on the Adriatic coast. The Serbian ace, holder of a record 24 Grand Slam titles, is currently staying in Montenegro, in his luxury apartment in Portonovi, where he is recharging his batteries ahead of the demanding American tour.
Every year, Djokovic chooses Montenegro for his family vacation, and this year is no exception. Besides enjoying the sea, the tennis player takes every opportunity for individual training and running on the beach. However, what particularly draws attention are his daily encounters with enthusiastic fans.
Hardly an hour passes without someone approaching Djokovic with a request for a photo or an autograph, which he patiently obliges. The latest footage shows him in the sea, swimming among other bathers, completely at ease.
On the social network X, a post appeared with a video of Djokovic in the water. "When you realize that the greatest of all time is right here beside us," reads a fan's post, which quickly went viral among tennis enthusiasts.
The vacation on the Adriatic will not last long. Djokovic is expected to play at the Cincinnati tournament in mid-August, which runs from August 13 to 23, 2026. After that comes the highlight of the hard-court season, the US Open, scheduled from August 30 to September 13, 2026.
It was at the 2023 US Open that Djokovic won his last, 24th Grand Slam title, further cementing his status as the most successful tennis player in the history of the sport.
