At the Monument to the Croatian Victory "Storm 95" in Knin, on the 31st anniversary of the liberation operation, the central wreath-laying ceremony was held. Tribute to the fallen, missing, and deceased Croatian defenders was paid by the highest state officials, wartime commanders, and representatives of associations stemming from the Homeland War.

Among those gathered were representatives of the families of fallen defenders and the Croatian National Assembly in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Wreaths were laid in memory of the key moment from August 1995, when Knin was liberated and the military-police operation Storm was concluded.

Anušić: "We are proud and happy"

On this occasion, Minister Anušić gave a statement to the media, reflecting on the significance of today. "We are proud and happy; the Rafales will show their strength," he said, highlighting the success of the Croatian people in achieving the centuries-old dream of freedom.

Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders is celebrated on August 5 as a national holiday, in memory of August 5, 1995, and the entry of Croatian forces into Knin.
