Pula welcomed its second Eurospin store on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Located on Tršćanska Street, right next to the Shell gas station, the new store opened its doors with a festive program, music, and refreshments for the first customers. This further solidifies the Italian chain's presence on the peninsula, where it already operates in Poreč, Labin, and Pazin.

The sales area covers 760 square meters, and in front of the building, customers have access to a parking lot with 103 spaces, including disabled parking, larger family spots, and electric vehicle charging stations. The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with selected working Sundays, and plastic bottle return is available during opening hours.

A Location the Neighborhood Needed

Residents interviewed by Glas Istre agree that the new location is a bullseye. One local woman, a resident of Tršćanska Street, admitted she hadn't shopped at Eurospin before, but the proximity of the new store prompted her to come and check out the offerings. "This street needed a store like this, and now everything is close by, so I can keep up with the promotions. The selection is good," she said, adding that she particularly appreciates seeing Croatian products on the shelves. She expressed hope that the chain will offer more of them, following the example of Slovenian stores, which she's heard from acquaintances are full of local brands.

Mrs. Marica, who already shops at Eurospin occasionally, highlighted the convenience of the new location. "I'm not from the neighborhood, but it's on my way from work and from home. It's more convenient than going to their store on the bypass, where traffic can get pretty heavy," she said. She also praised the store's interior: "Everything is well organized, the shelves are well set up and tidy, which is something I always appreciate in stores."

One of two women browsing the selection pointed out the proximity of the gas station as an added bonus: "I'm really happy this store opened because I live nearby, and it'll be so convenient to do my shopping right after filling up. I have another store nearby, but it's good to have more options. For starters, the prices I see are classic Eurospin fare, and since I used to come less often because of the distance to the first store, they've definitely won me over as a customer now." All interviewees agreed that the location is spot on, especially given the new road set to open at the city's entrance.
