Organizers announce a major production shift and urge attendees to prioritize safety. This marks the third concert at the stadium in the past two years.
Final preparations for the major concert by Marko Perković Thompson at Gospin Dolac Stadium in Imotski are entering their final stretch. The concert is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, and the organizing team says everything is ready for another musical spectacle expected to draw around 20,000 attendees.
Mirko Gudelj, a member of the organizing team, appeared on the show "Guest with a Reason" on Radio Imotski, hosted by Ivica Poštenjak. He highlighted that the final organizational touches are being completed at the stadium these days. "Everything is going according to plan, and we're putting the finishing details in place at Gospin Dolac Stadium. We want the audience to enjoy a top-tier concert and for the entire event to proceed safely and in the best possible atmosphere," Gudelj said.
Gudelj also conveyed how much the performer himself is looking forward to returning to Imotski, where he will hold his third concert in the past two years. "Marko often emphasizes that Imotski is one of his favorite places to perform. He considers Gospin Dolac one of the most special concert venues, one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world, nestled beneath the mythical Topana and beside the natural gem of Blue Lake. He's excited to reunite with the Imotski audience and all the people coming from Croatia and abroad on Saturday," he said.
Interest in the concert is exceptionally high, and according to the organizers, only a very small number of tickets remain, available through the Entrio system. Given the expected arrival of 20,000 people, the organizers ask all attendees to head to Imotski in a timely manner and to follow the instructions of the organizers and relevant authorities.
At the end of his appearance, Gudelj shared a collective message: "Let's look out for one another. The most important thing is that everything goes smoothly. As Marko himself says, all my fans are the best security. I believe it will be the same this time, and that Imotski will once again show it can be a great host for major events."
