According to information from the Croatian Automobile Club (HAK) released at 9:20 AM, the worst congestion has been recorded on the A1 Zagreb - Split - Ploče highway, where traffic jams are forming in front of the Lučko toll plaza, and extra caution is needed due to a traffic accident between the Jastrebarsko and Karlovac junctions.
On the A1 highway, which is the busiest route in Croatia during the summer season, traffic is heavy along the entire section between Zagreb and Zadar towards the coast. In front of the Lučko toll plaza, the line heading south is about one kilometer long, while in the opposite direction, towards Zagreb, there are no extended waits. Drivers heading south should expect delays already at the exit from Zagreb.
Extra caution is required between the Jastrebarsko and Karlovac junctions, near the Draganić rest area, where a traffic accident has occurred.
