From Dubrava to Washington via Real Madrid

A native of Zagreb, who took his first basketball steps in Dubrava, he has a rich career behind him. At just 13, he was spotted by Real Madrid, where he went through all the youth categories and made his debut for the first team. He left the Madrid club five years ago, and then played for Real Betis, Studentski Centar, Split, and for the last four seasons for Zadar, with whom he lost the championship final to Cibona. In a Zadar jersey, he averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game.

Gold with the Cadets and Ambitions in the U.S.

Eight years ago, Tišma was part of the golden generation of the Croatian cadet national team that, led by Roko Prkačin and Ivan Perasović, won gold at the European Championship in Serbia.

At his introduction at the new club, he explained the reasons for coming. "I talked a lot with the coaches, I liked their vision, but also the infrastructure the club has. I'm satisfied with everything I've seen so far, I think this was a good decision," Tišma told Index.hr.

He is clear about his goals: "I want us to win every game, and I want to improve more and more year after year. I'll give my all for the team, and I think the fans will soon see what my strongest sides are."
