Bosnian-Herzegovinian actress Jasna Žalica (58), best known to audiences as the housekeeper Šefika in the cult series Lud, zbunjen, normalan, has shared previously unknown details about her career and her departure from the popular sitcom. At the same time, fans of the crime genre on the Voyo platform can watch a new, extremely tense episode of the series IQ 160 in which inspectors unravel a web of lies surrounding the disappearance of two sisters.
The real reason for leaving the series after 36 episodes
Although her character Šefika, the housekeeper in the Fazlinović family home, gained immense popularity, Jasna Žalica decided to leave the series after filming the 36th episode. As reported by Kurir.rs, the actress revealed that at that time she was drawn to other professional challenges that were her priority. To the delight of numerous fans across the region, she returned to this cult project after a few years.
Her acting career spans more than three decades and includes numerous significant projects, but it was precisely the role of Šefika that brought her closest to the widest audience. Many did not recognize her when she appeared on the red carpet two years ago, which testifies to her transformation beyond the small screen.
'Mustafa was a true gentleman and friend'
Recalling her collaboration with the late Mustafa Nadarević, who masterfully portrayed Izet Fazlinović, Žalica did not hide her emotions. "Mustafa was a true gentleman and friend," the actress told Kurir.rs. She described him as an artist who inspires young people to pursue acting and a person from whom one constantly learns. She added that working with him in front of the camera was always completely natural, with a special feeling of long-standing togetherness and closeness.
A web of lies in 'IQ 160': From a burned car to a brilliant resolution
While the audience reminisces about legendary characters, the new episode of the series IQ 160 brings a completely different kind of tension. As reported by RTL.hr, the case of the disappearance of two minor sisters, the Lelas sisters, kept investigators in complete uncertainty. What initially seemed like a family drama soon turned into a complex criminal puzzle full of false leads and shocking twists. When new suspects outside the family circle entered the picture, it became clear that the investigative team was fighting an extremely cunning opponent.
Police advisor Marina Kapov and inspector Tomislav Ramljak faced a series of suspicious circumstances, from tense family relationships to mysterious individuals who suddenly came under scrutiny. The dramatic climax came when they located a key vehicle, but on the ground they found only flames and evidence reduced to ashes. Nevertheless, Marina Kapov, with her unconventional approach and 'IQ 160' methodology, noticed details that everyone had overlooked and connected seemingly incompatible pieces of the puzzle, leading the investigation to an unexpected end.
The entire tense episode can be watched immediately on the Voyo streaming platform.
