The newlyweds enjoyed Nick Cave's concert at the Pula Arena, and their romantic selfie from the crowd delighted their followers.
Actress Jelena Perčin (45) and musician Ante Gelo (51) made a public appearance last night at one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' concert at the Pula Arena. It was their first joint outing since it was confirmed last month that they had secretly married in Italy.
The couple spent the evening among thousands of fans and shared a memento on their Instagram profiles. They posted a joint selfie of them posing hugged and smiling, with the stone Arena filled with the audience visible behind them. They chose the song "Breathless" as the musical backdrop for the photo.
For the concert outing, Ante Gelo opted for a casual shirt with a striking pattern, while Jelena Perčin shone in a white summer ensemble. Gold earrings completed her look, and she wore her hair in a high ponytail. Although they didn't reveal further details from the performance, their smiles clearly indicated that they had a great time that evening.
Although the news of their wedding only broke after their return from a trip to Sardinia, Jelena Perčin revealed to Net.hr that they had said their fateful "I do" before leaving for Dallas, where they had followed the Croatian national team at the World Cup. Ante Gelo was there working as a musician. The ceremony did not take place in Croatia, and the couple managed to keep one of the most important days of their lives away from the public eye.
"We decided to keep it to ourselves and our closest family. We're happy we managed to pull it off like that. It was something just for us," Jelena Perčin told Net.hr.
She added that she doesn't believe marriage will significantly change their relationship. "I don't think anything will change. We're both grown-up and mature people; we've been through a lot in life. I believe it can only get more beautiful and better from here," the actress said for Net.hr.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds performed last night at the Arena and will do so again tonight, August 5, 2026. This month, the Australian singer and songwriter is performing in Pula as part of his Wild God tour, which also takes him to Serbia, Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, and other countries.
