Italian football giants Juventus officially confirmed on Saturday, August 2, 2026, the arrival of French striker Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain. The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the Turin club until the summer of 2031, with the transfer fee, according to club sources, set at €38 million.
Kolo Muani thus returns to a club where he already spent half a season on loan during the spring of 2025. During that period, he made a strong impression, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances for the Old Lady. Last season, he was on loan at English club Tottenham Hotspur, also from PSG, after which Juventus decided to make his move permanent.
The arrival of Kolo Muani is just the latest in a very active transfer window for the Turin club. On the same day, August 2, Bosnia and Herzegovina international Kerim Alajbegović also signed a five-year contract with the Old Lady, arriving from Bayer Leverkusen. His transfer, according to data from the specialized site Transfermarkt, amounts to €33 million, with the possibility of an additional €2 million in bonuses.
This fee places Alajbegović in a high fourth place on the list of the most expensive transfers of players from Bosnia and Herzegovina in history. Ahead of him are only Miralem Pjanić (€60 million, from Juventus to Barcelona in 2020), Tarik Muharemović (€40 million, from Sassuolo to Leeds United), and Bosnia and Herzegovina captain Edin Džeko (€37 million, from Wolfsburg to Manchester City).
The top five biggest transfers is rounded out by another Pjanić move, this time from Roma to Juventus for €32 million. Interestingly, the list also includes the legendary Elvir Baljić, whose transfer from Fenerbahçe to Real Madrid 27 years ago amounted to €21 million, which was a huge sum at the time. In contrast, Sead Kolašinac, who played for clubs such as Arsenal, Schalke, Marseille, and Atalanta, was never paid for with a single euro, as he always changed clubs as a free agent.
