Influencer publicly expresses anger over high ferry prices to Vela Luka, while thousands of people and fellow musicians paid tribute to the Croatian music legend
The event 'Trag u beskraju' (Trace in the Infinite) dedicated to Oliver Dragojević, held this year on July 29, 2026, on the anniversary of his death, sparked a heated controversy after influencer Lana Vidošević called out the organizers on social media over the cost of boat transportation to Vela Luka.
According to her words, as reported by Kurir.rs, a round-trip ferry ticket for the concert reached 70 euros, which she deemed scandalous and contrary to everything the late singer stood for.
Vidošević pointed out on her profile that, although she adores Oliver Dragojević, she was left without tickets the evening before the concert and was shocked to see that a one-way ticket cost 40 euros and the return 30 euros, i.e., a round-trip ticket of 70 euros. 'A boat ticket, 40 euros to go there, 30 euros to come back. 70 euros for me to pay just for the boat to go there for that one concert, no way,' she said to Kurir.rs.
In her post, she said: 'A disgrace for Croatia' and added that she believes Oliver himself would oppose his fans spending such money. 'Oliver wouldn't have liked this. First of all, he wouldn't have liked so many people, and I'm sure he would have wanted everything to be free,' she said. She compared the price to international travel, noting that for 70 euros she can buy a round-trip ticket to Spain or Italy.
Despite the controversy, the main concert in Vela Luka gathered several tens of thousands of people, and Oliver's timeless hits were performed by Petar Grašo, Zorica Kondža, Nina Badrić, Marko Tolja, Jakov Jozinović, Matija Cvek, Ivica Sikirić Ićo, Iva Ajduković, Ines Tričković, and klapa Ošjak. Hype TV reports that Badrić shared a touching message on Instagram, writing: 'We always return to Oliver...', along with a video created on the anniversary itself.
According to Tportal, among the attendees was Sandra Perković, wife of Marko Perković Thompson, who followed the concert from the second row, right behind members of Oliver's family. She arrived in Vela Luka a few days earlier and participated in the traditional ferry ride from Split, where passengers sang Oliver's songs despite the bad weather.
The 'Trag u beskraju' event does not end with the main concert, Nina Badrić will hold a solo acoustic performance on Thursday, July 31, 2026, accompanied by an orchestra under the direction of conductor Ante Gelo, thus officially rounding off this year's edition of the event dedicated to the enduring legacy of Oliver Dragojević.
