Police officers from the Solin Police Station prevented further drug distribution after finding marijuana and complete packaging and resale equipment on two minors in the Solin area on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
During the operation, police seized 81.9 grams of marijuana, two digital scales, and 82 plastic bags intended for packaging the drug for further sale. All found drugs and equipment were confiscated, and both individuals were arrested and taken to official premises.
The completed criminal investigation established reasonable suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs. Both were then handed over to the custody supervisor.
From the Split-Dalmatia Police Department, they confirmed to Jutarnji list that one minor was ordered a precautionary measure of reporting to the police once a week and was released. The other minor was ordered pre-trial detention by a judge and was transferred to Split Prison.
