The life story of Croatian national team defender Martin Erlić reads like a film script. The Bologna center-back, who grew up in extreme poverty in Tinj near Zadar, is now the owner of a luxury villa in Zadar County where a night's stay costs up to 1,200 euros.
Erlić grew up in a large family with two brothers and two sisters, and his beginnings were anything but easy. In the show 'Knjaz kod vatrenih', he openly spoke about the challenges his family faced.
"When I was born, my family lived in a stable. There were animals in one room, and only a wall separated us from them. There were very tough moments, like collecting bottles. It's not shameful, but I never said it out loud. I usually keep such things to myself," Erlić recounted.
Today, the picture is completely different. Erlić decided to expand the family business and had a villa built in the settlement of Kakma, a few minutes' drive from his native Tinj. He named it 'Nino', after his father, who is his role model.
The lavish property features four bedrooms and five bathrooms, with guests also having access to a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Every room exudes luxury, and additional amenities such as a football pitch and a padel court add extra value.
For those wishing to enjoy this property, the nightly rate is 1,200 euros. However, there is also a minimum stay requirement. Guests must book at least six nights, meaning the total cost for a stay amounts to 7,200 euros.
