The choice of the Rigo Gallery was no coincidence. This marks the fourth "encounter" in a series of art projects through which Delimar marks each decade of her life. It all began in 1996 with the project "I'm 40 Years Old", followed by "I'm 50" in 2006 and "I'm 60" in 2016. Now she has returned once again to address the issue of aging.

The artist has been performing solo since 1980, and 21 years ago she also launched the notable project "My Land Štaglinec" on her estate in the village of Štaglinec, near Koprivnica. Although that festival is no longer held, the land served as a starting point for exhibiting artists from around the world.

The Audience Became Part of the Artistic Scene

Unlike a classic stage performance, the core of this performance was the encounter between the artist and the audience. Delimar, wearing only a diaper around her waist, invited visitors and passersby to join her and take photos with her.

"At the heart of the performance was not a classic stage action with a predetermined beginning and end, but an encounter between the artist and the audience. Some visitors responded to the artist's invitation and, in the spirit of the performance, chose to be photographed with her undressed or only in their underwear, thereby becoming part of the artistic scene and the interaction Delimar envisioned," writes journalist Zvonimir Guzić for Glas Istre.

In this way, the audience became an integral part of the artistic act, participating in the questioning of aging and corporeality that Delimar continuously explores through her work.
