Police in Zadar are intensively searching for a group of men who brutally beat and robbed a 49-year-old German national in Privlaka on the night of August 6, 2026. The attack occurred on the street, and the victim was taken to Zadar General Hospital with severe injuries.
According to information from the Zadar List, the incident began in the early morning hours, around 1:00 AM. The victim and the attackers had previously been drinking together at a local bar. After leaving the café, a physical altercation broke out on the street. Several unidentified men used physical force against the 49-year-old.
In addition to the injuries inflicted, the attackers took the opportunity to rob him. In the report filed with the police, the German citizen stated that his mobile phone and several dozen euros in cash were stolen.
Following the attack, the victim was transported to Zadar General Hospital, where doctors confirmed severe bodily injuries. Zadar police responded immediately upon receiving the report, conducting an on-site investigation.
