After 13 years, RK Sisak returns to the Paket24 Premier League, and their ambitions are confirmed by bringing in the 27-year-old Macedonian international.
RK Sisak announced a major signing on August 3, 2026, ahead of their comeback season in the Paket24 Premier League. The club's ranks will be bolstered by Marko Miševski, a 27-year-old Macedonian international who joins Sisak after a stint with Israel's Maccabi Rishon LeZion.
Miševski plays as a left back and center back. Standing at 200 centimeters and weighing 104 kilograms, his experience and physical attributes make him a significant addition to the squad led by coach Siniša Markota.
His handball journey began at Macedonian powerhouse Vardar, where he achieved his greatest club successes. With Vardar, he won three North Macedonian championship titles, three national Cups, the SEHA League, and the pinnacle of his career came in 2019 when he lifted the EHF Champions League trophy. After Vardar, he continued his career in France, playing for Grenoble SMH and Cournon d'Auvergne, then briefly returned to Macedonian club Prolet, and spent the last season with Israel's Maccabi Rishon LeZion.
Beyond his rich club career, Miševski is a regular for the North Macedonia national team. He has appeared at two European Championships and one World Championship, further confirming his quality and the international experience he brings to the Sisak club.
The arrival of a player of this caliber confirms RK Sisak's ambitions as they return to the Croatian handball elite after 13 years away. Bringing in a handball player who has lifted the Champions League trophy clearly shows that the club aims to be competitive against the strongest Croatian clubs in the upcoming season.
