According to reports from Herzegovinian media published on Thursday, August 6, 2026, Drago Galić, one of the founders of Euroherc Insurance and a long-time manager in the sector, has passed away at the age of 73. The news of his death was first reported by Borak TV.
Born in 1954 in Ljubotići, Galić spent most of his life in Široki Brijeg. He joined Euroherc Insurance with extensive experience in the insurance field and was actively involved in the creation and development of the company from its very beginnings. His dedication to work did not wane even after retirement, as he remained active as a member of the Supervisory Board of Euroherc for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
His contribution to the company's development was particularly valued by Dubravko Grgić, the majority owner of Euroherc Insurance and the Agram Group. Grgić often highlighted Galić's professionalism, dedication, and human qualities, recognizing him as one of the key figures in the company's history.
Among colleagues and friends, Galić was known by the nickname "Pobro," which reflected his close and friendly attitude towards people. Borak TV reports that those who knew him described him as hardworking, patient, and fair, always ready to help others.
Alongside his business successes, Galić was above all devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife Miljenka, sons Stipe and Ivo, daughter Nina, and ten grandchildren.
