In the early morning hours, at 7:01 AM, the Operational Communications Center of the Osijek-Baranja Police Department received an urgent report of a beaten person lying in the middle of the road on Wilsonova Street in Osijek.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers confirmed the report. It was quickly determined that the victim is a 43-year-old man from Osijek.
Due to the injuries sustained, the 43-year-old was immediately transported to the Osijek University Hospital Center, where he is receiving medical care. The severity of his injuries is not yet known.
Police briefly stated that further work is underway to establish all the circumstances of this incident. The focus of the investigation is currently on finding the perpetrators, who are being actively sought.
