Đurđevac police have concluded an investigation into two suspects, aged 51 and 22, who are charged with grievous bodily harm and failure to provide assistance. As reported by the Koprivnica-Križevci Police Department, both have been handed over to the jail supervisor, and a criminal complaint has been filed with the competent state attorney's office.
According to the investigation results, the suspects physically attacked a 31-year-old man who was in the car with them on Saturday night in Budančevica. The violence did not stop even after the vehicle came to a halt; the attackers continued to strike the victim outside the car as well.
After the beating, the two men simply left the seriously injured 31-year-old on the road without providing any assistance. The victim sustained severe bodily injuries in the incident.
Following the completion of the criminal investigation, the suspects were handed over to the jail supervisor. The criminal complaint has been forwarded to the competent state attorney's office, which will decide on further action in this case.
