From August 28 to September 1, 2026, Karlovac will host the 39th edition of the Beer Days festival, featuring a rich music program, gastronomic offerings, and a special train for visitors from Zagreb.
Late August in Karlovac will once again be marked by one of Croatia's most renowned events. The Beer Days festival, now in its 39th year, will run from August 28 to September 1, 2026, with organizers preparing a rich program that includes performances by numerous musical acts, a diverse selection of food and drinks, and free transportation for visitors from Zagreb.
The festival will take place in the historic city center, in Zvijezda, where the program will be spread across two festival stages. On the first day, August 28, a grand opening is scheduled, followed by a performance by Severina on the main stage. That same evening, Minea will entertain the crowd on the Gastro stage.
Musical performances will continue over the following days. Confirmed artists for this year's edition include Petar Grašo, Hiljson Mandela, Baks, the band Jonathan, Indira, and Klapa Šufit.
In addition to concerts, the gastronomic offerings are a key part of the Beer Days. Along the Karlovac promenade and in the Gastro Corner, visitors can choose from traditional specialties and more modern street food dishes. Organizers highlight that a variety of flavors will be available in one place.
For beer enthusiasts, a special festival zone called the World of Beer will once again be open. In this zone, visitors can find domestic and imported beer products, various beer styles, and brands that are otherwise exclusively available on the Croatian market. The price of the most popular item is known: half a liter of draft Karlovačko beer during the festival will cost €2.50.
Organizers have also thought of those coming from Zagreb. Free transportation will be arranged for them, including a special festival train on the Zagreb-Karlovac-Zagreb route. This way, visitors can come to the festival without a car and return home after the program.
A trip to the Beer Days can also be an opportunity to explore a city with a brewing tradition spanning over 170 years. Those who manage to find some free time between performances can visit the Old Town Dubovac, the Nikola Tesla Experience Center, the freshwater aquarium Aquatika, or the Homeland War Museum in Turnj. For a refreshing break, Foginovo kupalište is available, and a stroll through the famous Radićeva Street is also an option.
