Four people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred this morning, on Friday, August 7, 2026, on Wirges Street in Samobor. A truck and a car collided, and all the injured were transported to a hospital in Zagreb.
As confirmed by the Zagreb police, the report of the accident was received at 7:15 AM. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene and provided care to the four injured individuals. All were taken to the Sisters of Charity University Hospital Center in Zagreb, where they received medical treatment.
According to unofficial information, the injuries are likely not serious, but official confirmation from the hospital has not yet arrived.
Due to the police investigation, traffic on Wirges Street was completely halted from 7:20 AM to 8:20 AM. During this period, police officers carried out all necessary procedures to determine the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
