Croatia's summer cultural scene offers two exceptional musical events. In Šibenik, the Barone Fortress will host a concert dedicated to a giant of Croatian music, while world-renowned singer-songwriter Nick Cave is set to perform in Pula.
According to Slobodna Dalmacija, in honor of Arsen Dedić, one of the most important authors on the Croatian music and poetry scene, the Barone Fortress will host a special musical evening titled "Warm Ruins of Summer" on August 25. The stage will bring together world-renowned guitarist Miroslav Tadić and Porin-winning vocalist Tina Vukov, accompanied by accomplished instrumentalists: Branimir Gazdik, Ivo Popeski, Marko Ramljak, and Nino Krznar.
The concert is part of the regular cycle of the Šibenik Culture Fortress, paying tribute to the artistic legacy of Arsen Dedić, Gabi Novak, and Matija Dedić. Through new interpretations, the cycle offers a fresh perspective on the oeuvre of these great artists. The repertoire will feature timeless compositions such as "Moderato cantabile," "Kuća pored mora," and "Djevojka za jedan dan."
Tickets for the concert are available for 25 euros online and at the box office of the Arsen Art House. Members of the Friends Club receive a 30% discount at the box office upon presenting a valid membership card.
