A fire broke out at the logistics center of Russian online retailer Wildberries in Yekaterinburg in the early hours of August 7, 2026, after it was struck by Ukrainian drones. The attack occurred at a site approximately 1,700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, further illustrating Kyiv's ability to target objectives deep within Russian territory.
The company itself confirmed the incident via its official Telegram channel. "Firefighting teams are working at the company's logistics facility in Yekaterinburg; a fire broke out as a result of the attack. A timely evacuation was carried out at the facility," Wildberries announced. The Ukrainian Telegram channel Operativno ZSU also reported on the targeted warehouse, stating that "another Wildberries warehouse was hit in Yekaterinburg this morning," with the fire also confirmed by the company's press service.
On social media platform X, the profile OSINTtechnical posted footage of an FP-2 drone striking the distribution center. According to the Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova, which also shared the moment of the attack, a drone named "Liutyi" was used for the strike. UNIAN Ukraine covered the news with a sarcastic comment that "morning hasn't been great at Wildberries warehouses in Yekaterinburg."
This is not an isolated incident. According to available information, Ukrainian drones have been attacking Wildberries logistics centers almost daily, with more than 20 warehouses of the company already hit across Russia, indicating a systematic campaign aimed at disrupting Russian logistics infrastructure.
