The director of the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point, which manufactures the 'Flamingo' missile, made serious threats against Russia on Monday, July 28, 2026. Sergey Shtilerman (as cited by the Telegram channel Slavyangrad), or Denis Shtilerman (according to the channel MilInfoLive), threatened to launch 20 to 30 ballistic missiles at Moscow this fall and to destroy Russian online stores Wildberries and Ozon. According to Slavyangrad, Shtilerman stated: 'We will finish off Wildberries, then destroy Ozon.' A similar threat was reported by MilInfoLive, where Fire Point co-owner Denis Shtilerman said: 'We will finish off Wildberries, and then destroy Ozon.'
Shtilerman, whom sources identify as the director or co-owner of the company, claims that the missile strikes will penetrate Russian air defenses and hit central Moscow. In an interview with Dmitry Gordon (whom the pro-Russian channel Voenkor Kotenok labels an extremist and terrorist), Shtilerman stated: 'The war in Ukraine will not end until the 1991 borders are restored and Russia disintegrates.' He also urged Russians to flee the country, warning: 'It will only get worse every day.' As reported by Voenkor Kotenok, Shtilerman replied that he plans to begin attacks on Moscow as early as this fall.
The goal of destroying Wildberries and Ozon, according to Shtilerman, is to cripple Russian business and disrupt civilian life. These two platforms are among the largest in Russia, and targeting them, he claims, would harm thousands of companies and weaken the Russian economy. The statement draws additional attention as it comes from the head of a company already producing missile systems for Ukrainian forces.
Meanwhile, Russian forces continue their attacks in northern Ukraine. According to data from the analytical channel AMK Mapping as of July 28, 2026, over the past month Russian units have captured approximately 15.36 square kilometers of territory in the Hlukhiv direction, in Sumy region. Fighting is ongoing in several villages: Russian forces have taken new positions along the road west of the border crossing and are now launching attacks on the village of Bachivsk, which is currently in a 'gray zone.' Infiltrations have also been recorded toward the outskirts of the village of Male Slobidka.
To the south, the Russians have expanded their control zone across the international border, gaining forest positions west of the village of Chervone Zore, west of Bobylivka, and north and northeast of Bile Bereza. They have also launched assault operations on the village of Ulanove. According to AMK Mapping, minor advances have also been made through forests west of Komarivka, where Russian reinforcements are gathering.
These threats come amid intense fighting. According to the MilInfoLive channel, 192 missiles of various types have been launched at targets in the Odesa region over the past three weeks. Explicitly threatening attacks on the Russian capital represent an escalation of rhetoric that could have broader security implications. Although there is no confirmation that Ukraine officially supports such statements from individuals in the defense sector, any further escalation of the conflict is reflected in the security situation in Europe.
