HEP's 'Ace for Life' campaign at Plava Laguna Croatia Open raised the largest amount yet for the Croatian Wheelchair Tennis Association.
The charity campaign "Ace for Life," traditionally held as part of the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, resulted in a record donation this year. A total of €8,125 was raised for the Croatian Wheelchair Tennis Association, announced HEP, the tournament's long-time partner and sponsor.
The key to this success lies in the 325 aces served by players during the tournament. By increasing the donation per ace, the charitable nature of the initiative was further strengthened, achieving the highest amount raised to date. This campaign once again demonstrated that elite sport can be a catalyst for positive change and concrete support.
In addition to supporting this campaign, HEP is also the main sponsor of the ITF Wheelchair Croatia Open Umag, an international wheelchair tennis tournament. This event traditionally runs parallel to the main ATP tournament in Umag. It brings together top athletes and each year contributes to the advancement and popularization of sport for people with disabilities, while also raising awareness of the need for inclusion and equal opportunities.
