The sixth generation of mobile networks, known as 6G, will bring capabilities that go far beyond traditional data transmission and communication. According to Heute, a system called ISAC will combine data transmission and radar functions into a single technology, enabling 6G networks to act as a giant radar that detects people through walls and measures pulse and breathing from a distance.
With the help of machine learning, the system will be able to recognize gait, gestures, and even facial expressions, all without using cameras. Security experts warn that such a system could register every person within signal range, even if they don't carry a mobile phone, raising serious privacy concerns.
Germany has already invested around 700 million euros in developing this technology, with full deployment of 6G networks expected by 2030. Meanwhile, experts emphasize that the system's capabilities should not be overestimated-these radars currently work only over short distances and don't create a clear image of the space, but rather detect only object movement.
To preserve privacy, experts at the Barkhausen Institute are working on a special switch that would allow sensor functions to be turned off, as well as applications that would notify users when their surroundings are being scanned. The final standards for 6G technology are expected to be discussed at an international summit in Dresden, scheduled for September 2026.
While 6G opens new privacy challenges, users of AI tools are already facing issues with sharing conversations. Recently, it was observed that some publicly shared Claude conversations were visible in Google and Bing search results, as reported by Lika Online. Although conversations are private by default, choosing the share option creates a public link accessible to anyone who has it.
The content found included conversations about sensitive personal, business, and legal matters, even though users likely didn't anticipate they could be discovered through a simple internet search. A similar issue previously existed with publicly shared ChatGPT conversations-OpenAI removed the option that allowed shared conversations to appear in search engines during 2025, following privacy complaints.
ChatGPT users can check their active links in settings under Data Controls, then open the list of shared links, where individual links can be revoked. For Claude, go to Settings, then Privacy, and review the Shared chats section, where a conversation can be made private again by changing visibility from Public to Private.
The safest approach is to review the entire conversation before sharing and check if it contains personal data, health information, business documents, contracts, addresses, phone numbers, or information about others. For sending a single response, it's often safer to copy just the necessary part of the text or send a screenshot, rather than creating a public link to the entire conversation.
