The regional music scene has welcomed a new duet that, judging by the artists' own words, could leave a lasting mark. Adi Šoše and Saša Matić released the song "Daljine" on August 13, 2026, an emotional story that brings together two recognizable voices, two generations, and different musical sensibilities.
For Šoše, this collaboration carries special weight, as he grew up listening to his older colleague's music.
"Saša is someone who has quietly been a part of my entire life because I grew up with his songs. This collaboration makes me incredibly proud, and I can't wait to perform 'Daljine' live at one of our concerts," Šoše said.
Matić Accepted the Invitation Without Hesitation
matić emphasized that he welcomed Šoše's invitation with joy, recognizing in his younger colleague an energy that further motivated him.
"I'm happy that Adi invited me to sing 'Daljine' together. I love collaborating with young people who bring fresh energy, and Adi is truly an exceptional artist with a distinctive emotion and a voice that audiences love for good reason," Matić said.
He also revealed that the song won him over immediately upon first listen, and he had no doubts about joining the project.
"I liked the song from the first listen, and I had no dilemma about being part of this story. I think we've blended two different energies in a beautiful way that I believe audiences will find interesting. The song won us over instantly, and now we can't wait to hear how the audience will receive it. I believe people will feel what we felt while creating it and will love it and listen to it for a long time," Matić shared.
The Creative Team Behind the Song
The music and lyrics for "Daljine" are credited to Amil Lojo, who also handled production, while the visual aspect was entrusted to director Karmen Obrdalj. Lojo notes that the entire story around the song and the collaboration between the two singers developed spontaneously.
"Sometimes things simply fall into place as they should, and I think that was exactly the case with this song. Two top-notch vocals, two different characters and sensibilities, yet together they create a truly special emotion," Lojo said.
A Major Concert at Arena Zagreb on the Horizon
The new song arrives just before one of the most significant moments in Šoše's career so far. Early next year, he is set to headline his biggest solo performance to date at Arena Zagreb, with ticket sales expected to open soon. The song "Daljine" is also available on YouTube.
