Croatia's tourism offering has been enriched with another luxury property. The Bristol Bol, a four-star boutique hotel located in the heart of Bol, directly opposite the Bol harbor, has opened on the island of Brač. The project is by Eagle Hills, a private investment and real estate company founded in 2014 by Mohammed Alabbar, one of the wealthiest Arabs, with an estimated fortune of between two and three billion dollars.

Renovated Hotel Park with 94 Accommodation Units

The hotel is housed in the building of the former Hotel Park, which for over a decade primarily served as accommodation for employees. The Bristol Bol features 94 rooms and suites, with accommodations ranging from 21 to 40 square meters. The most exclusive option is The Bristol Suite, which includes a separate living and sleeping area, an outdoor space, and sea views.

Guests have access to a heated swimming pool, a spa and wellness area, a sauna, and a fully equipped gym. The culinary offering is led by the MARE restaurant, whose concept is based on Mediterranean dishes, seasonal fare, and ingredients from the island of Brač and other parts of the Adriatic. The hotel also features The Lounge bar, 24-hour in-room dining, and spaces for weddings and private celebrations.

The Bristol Bol is the second destination for the international hotel brand The Bristol, following the opening of the renovated The Bristol Belgrade in early 2025. This hotel belongs to the Croatian group Sunce Hoteli, which Alabbar's company Eagle Hills acquired in 2021 from Jakov Andabak and other owners. With the opening of this hotel, the number of Eagle Hills-owned hotels in Croatia has reached 25.

The hotel welcomed its first guests on August 10, 2026. Additionally, pets weighing up to 25 kilograms are allowed, at a rate of 120 euros per stay, as reported by the portal Standard.

Mohammed Ali Alabbar, aged 69, is an entrepreneur from the United Arab Emirates, known for founding Emaar Properties, which was involved in projects such as the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. In addition to Eagle Hills, he is the founder of the e-commerce platform Noon.com and the food company Americana Group. He also serves as the chairman of Zand, Dubai's first digital bank, and is engaged in the construction of the Dubai Creek Tower.
