Dinamo Zagreb has been trying for weeks to negotiate the return of Dominik Livaković, Croatia's first-choice goalkeeper, with Fenerbahçe. After unsuccessful talks with representatives of the Turkish club, Maksimir turned to his namesake Kotarski, but worse news arrived: Kotarski suffered a serious injury, and that transfer is off.

Barcelona could buy Livaković and loan him to Dinamo

As reported by Sportske novosti, Livaković's agent Andy Bara did not deny reports from Turkey that Barcelona is interested in the Croatian national team goalkeeper. An additional, extremely intriguing scenario has also emerged in football circles.

"Livaković's agent Andy Bara did not deny the news from Turkey that Barcelona is interested in Croatia's first-choice goalkeeper, and I've also heard another scenario in football circles. This information didn't come from the player's agent or the club, but it's very interesting. Don't laugh. Namely, Barcelona would buy Livaković from Fener and loan him to Dinamo."

The combination isn't impossible given the good relations between Dinamo and Barcelona, built through Dani Olmo and now the transfers of Sergio Domínguez and Dani Rodríguez. When it comes to the national team's number one and his future career at Dinamo, it's clear that many things can still come into play.

Vidović moves to Paderborn for €3 million

Gabriel Vidović, a former Dinamo player, is no longer at Maksimir; he is set to join Bundesliga side Paderborn for a fee of €3 million. Coach and expert Ilija Lončarević had sharp words about his performances.

"Without underestimating his talent and humanity, he is not a player who can bring Dinamo and our league anything more than his talent. Vidović doesn't have the proper behavior of a midfielder; he lacks agility and presence on the pitch. He can go 10 minutes without touching the ball. In the penalty area, he can decide games with dribbling and shooting, but he can't be the backbone of the team."

Maksimir prepares for a historic night

On Tuesday, August 18 at 9 PM, Dinamo hosts Viking FK at Maksimir in the battle for a place in the Champions League league phase. As announced on the club's official Twitter profile, tickets remain only for the North Stand upper tier, priced at €12 for members and €17 for other fans.

"Tomorrow, all as one, from the pitch to the stands! 🏟️🙌 A Maksimir night to remember awaits us, and tickets are only left for the North upper tier - call your parents, neighbors, friends... let's fill that stand too and write history together!"

In addition to the Champions League battle, part of the match revenue will be donated to help those affected by the wildfires in the hardest-hit areas of Croatia.

Zvone Boban congratulates BBB's 40th anniversary

Fan Zvone Boban posted an emotional message on GNK Dinamo's official Twitter profile to mark the 40th birthday of the fan group BBB.

"To you, without whom nothing is the same - for 40 years, nothing has been the same! To you, who never stopped loving and living the blue - not for a single second of life, not for a single second of any match. To you, because of whom we have the Dinamo we dreamed of for years.
